Idk this does kind of make me mad, not at the Doctor but at the TARDIS, because Jackie went an entire year not knowing what had happened to Rose, where she was, or if she was even alive. And Mickey, besides also missing Rose and not knowing if she was okay, was also accused of killing her, and had to go through everything that entails- investigations, police knocking at his door and searching his apartment, everyone who knew him in passing but not well enough to know how much he loved Rose looking at him askance, etc.
